Another Ross Barnett tournament is now behind us. Most all members caught fish. Those who fished with a heat index of 105 had it all – heat, humidity, rain, and lightning. Don’t you just love it?
The top fishermen were:
Boater Division
1st Place – Charlie Moore 11.17 Lbs
2nd Place – T.J. Hare Sr. 9.34 Lbs
3rd Place – J.J. Wilson 7.50 Lbs
4th Place – Greg Horne 6.76 Lbs
5th Place – T.J. Hare Jr. 6.03 Lbs
Co-angler Division
1st Place – Chris Dill 5.01 Lbs
2nd Place – Bob Westerfield 2.59 Lbs
3rd Place – George Thrash 1.56 Lbs
The Lunker honors were taken by Dan Stokes with a 5.01 fish.
Congratulations to all these fishermen.
The Culprits took Team honors at this tournament.
Upcoming events
• Ladies Night will be held 0n 28 August at Reservoir Point. Reservoir Point is located just across from Cock of the Walk. The event begins at 6:00 PM. The cost will be $50.00 per couple. Greg Horne will explain the menu options and drink arrangements at the General Membership meeting tomorrow night (17 August) at the Lone Star in Pearl. Please be there for the details and so Greg can get a head count.
• The General Membership Meeting will be at Lone Star in Pearl on Tuesday night – 17 August.
• The Board meeting will be on 7 September at the Lone Star in Pearl. Any member is welcome to attend.
• Lake Washington point tournament will be on 18th September.
