October Newsletter/Ross Barnett Results

The Ross Barnett tournament was slow and tough for most of us. Most everyone fished up the river and caught knotheads. There were only two limits weighed in. A total of 71.42 lbs. and 49 fish were brought to the scales. The weather was fine and we al had a good time.

The top fishermen were:
Boater Division
1st Place – Greg Horne 9.58 Lbs.
2nd Place – Mike Melton 7.12 Lbs.
3rd Place – Charlie Moore 6.72 Lbs.
4th Place – Mike Michels 4.83 Lbs.
5th Place – Jim Lowe 4.56 Lbs.
Co-angler Division
1st Place – Randy Mills 2.12 Lbs.
2nd Place – Bob Westerfield 1.10 Lbs.
3rd Place – George Thrash 1.03 Lbs.

The Lunker honors were taken by Greg Horne with a 3.08 fish.

Congratulations to all these fishermen.

The Dead Ringers whipped up big time and sealed it for the year. Great job Team Dead Ringers! Scum Frogs and Culprits tied for last place. This was a good tight race for most of the year. Congratulations to J.J. Wilson and all his team members.

I’m writing this newsletter while in Oklahoma City and mooching off a wireless modem somewhere in the neighborhood, so if you see errors please save them or e-mail them to me so I can deal with them when I get back into town.Cheers! And Good Fishing!!
